Forms Production Specialist - Full Time

Shift Hours/Days:: Full Time - M-F
Degree Required/Education: A.A.
Minimum Years of Experience: 2

Required Education and Experience: Two year associates degree in business management or equivalent in Graphic Design/Forms Management. Minimum one year experience in form production, printing and/or management in healthcare services.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Requires a thorough working knowledge of forms database maintenance using Microsoft Office programs. Requires experience and workable knowledge in Adobe Indesign and Adobe Acrobat Professional for form production and management. Requires the knowledge and ability to maintain current procedures for copyright regulations and laws.

Essential Functions
Manage the Watson Clinic forms inventory, database, hard copy files, and digital update file, (for backup and contracted printers/service providers). Convert, (if required) and maintain all database forms in the PC and Mac format. Current form programming is in Adobe InDesign, converted to PDF for printing and interactive use with Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Provide and maintain updated database in digital format to all active vendors and production locations.

Review, process, and route all forms production request to the most cost/time

efficient printer, service provider, or copy center resource. Process request for new forms creation, or existing form revision, providing forms typesetting in-house. Oversee forms production within the Copy Center to ensure the most current form is available and processed/formatted correctly.

Process and maintain records on all outside typesetting and production activity and associated cost.

Maintain vendor/resource files. Provide activity/usage reports and cost analysis to department director when requested.

Maintain current knowledge of printing, typesetting, and graphic arts techniques.

Maintain current knowledge of form production associated software and all paper stocks. Maintain accurate and active copyright verification process and procedures. Providing technical advice when requested.

Facilitate and participate in MESS Committee meetings; attend any mandatory Clinic-wide meetings; speak and meet with outside vendors regarding printing requirements as necessary

Demonstrates an understanding of policies, procedures, and priorities, seeking clarification as needed.
