Required Education and Experience: High School graduate or GED, CPSGT (Certified Polysomnographic Technician) or RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist). CPR Certification within 3 months of employment.
Preferred Education and Experience: Two years experience as a polysomnographic tech.
Essential Functions
Meet with patients to review sleep study procedures, review sleep equipment, schedule appointments, and assist with authorizations.
Score and analyze tracings. Prepare reports to be presented to physician. Keep physicians informed of patients’ status.
Ensure efficient operation of Sleep Center to provide quality patient care and to maintain accreditation.
Assist coordinator with hiring and overseeing of Sleep Center Staff.
Maintain sleep lab equipment and inventory.
