Required Education and Experience: Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse. One or more years of comprehensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings BSN degree preferred. 1-3 years hospital experience in Labor & Delivery and/or Mother/Baby preferred.

Essential Functions
Demonstrates knowledge, skill and coordination of all childbirth education classes, newborn classes, and breastfeeding classes. Provides education and information to the class participants.

Identifies and helps implement curriculum for the various OB Education classes. Where appropriate updates and writes new curriculum to enhance the classroom experience.

Serves as a resource for other departments in the clinic. Attends health fairs, lectures as well as staff education.

Provides education and information outside of the classroom to patients who request additional information and training.
