Registered Nurse Senior - Team Lead - Full Time

Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred or other Bachelor's degree in Healthcare field. Maintains an active Florida RN license. Maintain current certifications in BLS, PALS and ACLS. Requires 3-5 years experience in Inpatient Critical Care, ER, Urgent Care or other acute setting. Also requires minimal 3-5 years in leadership role at the level of Team Leader or above.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must possess exceptional Critical Thinking skills, exceptional communication skills, Team Building and Coaching skill-set, demonstration of multi-tasking and prioritization capabilities.

Essential Functions
Acts as the backup for Regional Coordinators at WCS, N. Peds, Highlands, and Plant City as required to ensure the clinic’s goals and initiatives are met. This includes overall oversight of the site, employees and operations.

Ability to work in and provide individual and group clinical training of Internal Medicine , Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Regional Float Pool, Highlands Nurse Ancillary Clinic, Highlands XpressCare, Priority Care and Urgent Care South– Care Team members as required.

Maintains and demonstrates competencies in areas listed above.

Assists is the instruction and completion of clinical competencies required of all newly hired care team members and annual competency requirements.

Assists in maintaining compliance with clinic policies and procedures and ensuring care team members receive the training required to be successful in their role and that all areas are compliant with clinic policies.

Mentors newly hired care team members and to those who have transferred into one of our departments. Completes the Employee Training Evaluation form and monitors to ensure compliance.

Communicates to the Clinical Services Coordinators and Clinical Director relevant information including direct observation of care team members for performance evaluations, offers recommendations for improvement and potential for disciplinary actions as required.

Assists with special projects and initiatives as directed by the Clinical Services Director:

Develops and maintains a good working relationship with Physicians, Providers, Care Team Members, Clinical Services Coordinators and Clinical Director.

Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policy and procedures and clinical service notes, attends mandatory training programs to maintain compliance with the latest clinic initiatives and
