Required Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Computer related field with a minimum of five (5) years related IT Security experience. Experience with Antivirus and Firewall applications and risk mitigation. Vulnerability remediation working with security auditors for Penetration Tests.

Preferred Education and Experience: CISSP Certification highly desired. Teo (2) Years Supporting an EMR while in a Security capacity, Epic environment experience preferred. 5 Years Active Directory and two (2) years’ experience with Palo Alto or other SEIM related software. Verifiable experience in a Healthcare Environment related Security Practices. Security Auditing and Administration for implementation of security protocols including OU and GPO.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Cyber Security certifications. Ethical Hacking and Digital Forensics knowledge is also desired. Working knowledge of virtual and physical servers.

Scripting experience and comfortable working with various operating systems.

Candidate must have excellent oral, written, and professional communication skills.

Attention to detail while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate must have advanced knowledge of common practices and procedures within the information security field.

Candidate must also work with limited supervision as an individual and within the MIS group.

Candidate must have experience in implementing software upgrades/patching, and project planning.

The candidate must have knowledge of Virtual Environments along with strong experience with Storage, Backup solutions, Servers (physical and virtual), Endpoint Protection Systems, and different firewall solutions.

Candidate must be a leader and explain/share knowledge to ensure the Clinic’s success.

Candidate must stay educated with security products/services utilized by the Clinic as assigned by leadership.

Summary/Objective

MIS Cyber Security Analyst ensures Watson Clinic LLP IT Technical infrastructure is configured and conforms to all Clinic policies, procedures, and guidelines. MIS Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for the security network elements such as patching and updating servers, network hardware, systems integration testing, and disaster recovery processes. MIS Cyber Security Analyst, as with all MIS positions, is required to complete after-hours system support directly related to enterprise security and potential mandatory overtime as defined by MIS leadership.
